Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment in Glasgow is seeking a Diesel Engine Engineer (Field & Workshop) to join a rapidly expanding team servicing welfare cabins, generators and tower lights across Scotland and the Midlands.

You'll split your time between the depot workshop and field-based service work, performing maintenance, diagnostics and repairs with a focus on diesel engines and generators. The role offers training, progression, and overtime with a company van.

Qualifications

• Experience working on diesel engines and/or generators.
• Field service experience and willing to commute nationwide.
• Maintenance and repair of welfare units, generators and tower lights.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repairs across our fleet of welfare units, generators, and tower lights.
• Attending breakdowns in the field and PDIs in the workshop.
• Split time between depot workshop and field-based service work.
• Diagnose faults and get equipment back up and running.
