Service Care in Portsmouth, Hampshire, seeks a qualified Electrical Maintenance Technician for a permanent role. You will perform inspection, testing, repairs and installations across kitchens, bathrooms and commercial heating systems while ensuring compliance with IET Wiring Regulations and NICEIC certification standards.

Role requires safe isolation, guidance to junior electricians, and participation in on-call support.

Formación

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent in Inspection and Testing.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• AM2 qualification.
• Full, current UK driving licence.
• Over three years' electrical trade experience within building maintenance.
• Ideally two years' supervisory experience.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out electrical inspection and testing, reactive repairs, fault finding and full rewiring.
• Undertake electrical installations in kitchens, bathrooms and commercial heating systems.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with current IET Wiring Regulations and relevant British Standards.
• Complete and validate electrical certification through NICEIC certification system.
• Ensure safe isolation procedures are followed and testing equipment complies with GS38 guidance.
• Provide technical guidance and support to electricians and other trades.
• Respond promptly to emergency repairs and resolve faults efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, customer service and health and safety.
• Maintain accurate job records, including photographic evidence where required.
• Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota and support other contracts when required.
