Daniel Owen Ltd is recruiting an experienced electrician to service social housing properties in the West End area. You will perform electrical repairs, maintenance and installations in occupied and void properties, ensuring compliance with safety standards and BS 7671 regulations.

Daily duties include diagnosing faults, installing lighting and outlets, conducting EICRs, and completing certification and documentation.

Formación

• Must hold NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations and BS 7671 18th Edition.
• Certifications for electrical inspection and testing (2391-52).
• JIB Gold Card or working toward it is expected.
• Basic DBS check completed.

Responsabilidades

• Carrying out electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations in occupied and void social housing properties.
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults in domestic environments while ensuring safety compliance.
• Installing and maintaining lighting, sockets, switches, consumer units, and other domestic electrical components.
• Conducting periodic inspections and testing (including EICRs) in line with current regulations.
• Ensuring all work complies with BS 7671 and relevant health and safety requirements.
• Completing job sheets, certificates, and compliance documentation accurately.
• Liaising with tenants, site managers, and other trades to support smooth service delivery.
• Responding to emergency call-outs and urgent repairs when required.
• Maintaining tools, equipment, and the company vehicle to a high standard.
• Following company procedures and delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.

Requirements:

Full UK Driving Licence (manual)

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations

18th Edition (BS 7671)

City & Guilds 2391-52 (Inspection & Testing)

JIB Gold Card (or working towards it)

Basic DBS Check
