Job summary

Service Care Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Mobile Electrical Supervisor in Portsmouth to lead electrical works, perform testing and inspections, and supervise a local team. The role requires strong technical competence, health & safety focus and the ability to work independently while supporting colleagues.

Candidate must have essential qualifications including NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, C&G 2391, 18th Edition, AM2, and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent – essential
• C&G 2391 Inspecting & Testing or equivalent – essential
• 18th Edition – essential
• AM2 qualification – essential
• Full current UK driving licence – essential
• CSCS card – desirable
• 3+ years’ experience in the building maintenance industry
• Ideally 2+ years’ supervisory experience

Responsibilities

• Electrical testing, inspection and certification
• Reactive repairs and fault finding
• Full electrical rewiring
• Electrical installations to kitchens and bathrooms
• Electrical installations for commercial heating systems
• Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults
• Ensuring all work complies with 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations and relevant British Standards
• Supporting the team and participating in an out-of-hours/on-call rota

Job description

Mobile Electrical Supervisor Location: Portsmouth Salary: £47,025 + Sign-On Bonus Hours: 40 hours per week We’re looking for an experienced Mobile Electrical Supervisor with a can-do attitude and flexible approach to join our team.

The Role

• Electrical testing, inspection and certification
• Reactive repairs and fault finding
• Full electrical rewiring
• Electrical installations to kitchens and bathrooms
• Electrical installations for commercial heating systems
• Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults
• Ensuring all work complies with 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations and relevant British Standards
• Supporting the team and participating in an out-of-hours/on-call rota

About You

You should have strong experience across domestic and commercial electrical works, with a practical approach to health & safety and excellent communication skills.

Important Clearance Requirements

Due to the nature of the role, all successful candidates must be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check and SC Clearance.
