Job summary

Guardian Jobs is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer – Mobile Welfare Units to join a well-established company. The role is field-based with a company van and tools, covering breakdowns and warranty/service work across customer sites in the UK.

A strong emphasis on diagnosing remotely via telemetry and arriving prepared is required. The ideal candidate will have proven multi-skilled field service experience, diesel engine fault-finding, and electrical competence, plus a full UK driving

Qualifications

• Proven multi-skilled field service background relevant to welfare units, generators, plant or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Attend, diagnose and repair mobile welfare cabins in the field to restore power, heating and water systems.
• Interpret remote telemetry data and prepare for on-site attendance.
• Perform safe, unsupervised repairs at customer sites and provide clear reporting.
• Work with a company van and toolset to service breakdowns and warranty work.
