Job summary

The RAC is expanding its SMR division with a Mobile Vehicle Technician role, covering Maidstone, Medway, Sittingbourne, Sheerness and surrounding areas. You’ll work on pre-booked jobs with a clear digital schedule, performing routine servicing, diagnostics and in-depth repairs away from the workshop.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing.
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
• In‑depth repairs you’d normally complete in a workshop.
• Member advice and recommendations based on inspection.
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
