Job summary

RAC is expanding its Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) division with a Mobile Vehicle Technician role. You will complete planned, pre-booked mobile repairs and servicing directly to members, with the time, tools and support provided to ensure quality work.

This is a 40-hour week with core hours 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays. There is overtime to boost your base salary, and you can earn up to £52,000 on target.

There are no emergency callouts, no unpredictable shift patterns and noroadside recoveries. Instead, you’ll work through a scheduled list ofjobs, with the time, tools and support you need to do quality work.

Where you’ll work

You’ll be part of the Maidstone cluster, covering areas like Maidstone, Medway (Chatham, Gillingham, Rochester, Strood), Sittingbourne, Sheerness, Snodland.
