Job summary

RAC Motoring Services are hiring a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join our SMR division. You’ll service, diagnose, and repair vehicles at members’ driveways or workplaces, with a fully equipped RAC van and support from a national organisation.

You’ll need NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience or 5+ years’ experience, and a full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing and diagnostics on vehicles at members' locations.
• In-depth repairs you'd normally complete in a workshop.
• Provide member advice and recommendations based on inspection.
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
