The RAC is recruiting a Mobile Vehicle Technician for its SMR division in the UK. You’ll operate across the Leeds cluster and nearby towns, following a pre‑booked schedule with no emergency callouts.

Expect a fully equipped RAC van, mobile diagnostics, and a focus on quality repairs. You will perform routine servicing, diagnostics, in‑depth repairs, and provide member guidance while upholding RAC standards and vehicle safety checks.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsabilités

• Routine servicing.
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
• In‑depth repairs you’d normally complete in a workshop.
• Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection.
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
