Job summary

RAC is recruiting for a Mobile Vehicle Technician in the SMR division. You will work on pre-booked, on-site visits across the Walsall cluster, performing routine servicing, diagnostics, and in-depth repairs with a fully equipped RAC van and advanced tools.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) required.
• 5+ years’ experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic required.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points required.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
• In-depth repairs you’d normally complete in a workshop
• Member advice and recommendations based on inspection
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards

Education
