Job summary

RAC Motoring Services is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician in the SMR division to carry out planned servicing, diagnostics and in-depth repairs on a pre-booked schedule across Leeds cluster and surrounding areas. You’ll work with a fully equipped RAC van, benefit from overtime and bonuses, and enjoy a structured, non-reactive workload.

The role offers a base salary of £40,170 with OTE up to £52,000, 40-hour weeks, and 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic and a full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing.
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
• In-depth repairs you’d normally complete in a workshop.
• Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection.
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
