Job summary

RAC is seeking a Mobile Mechanic for the Service, Maintenance and Repair division. You’ll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostics to customers at their locations, with your own RAC van, fuel card, tools and diagnostic kit provided.

A 40-hour week, with occasional Saturdays, and earnings from base salary to bonuses are on offer. You’ll be part of a team delivering first-class service with flexibility, career progression, and a strong work-life balance.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, diagnostics and repairs for customers on-site or at locations booked by RAC.
• Manage stock, complete related reporting and maintain clear customer communication.
