Job summary

Join RAC as a Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division. You’ll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to customers, wherever they are, from driveways to office car parks. Expect a 40-hour week with a route-based schedule and progression opportunities.

We’ll equip you with an RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and diagnostic kit from day one, plus overtime options and a market-competitive package.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, diagnostics, repairs and checks on vehicles in customers' driveways or sites.
• Manage stock and perform reporting.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with customers on-site.
