Job summary

The RAC is seeking a Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division to bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostics directly to customers at their locations. You’ll be equipped with a RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools, and diagnostic kit from day one.

Expect a 40‑hour week with core hours 8:30 am–5:00 pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays. Earn £40,170 base, with OTE up to £52,000 and opportunity to boost earnings via overtime and bonuses.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance and diagnostics on customer sites (driveways, car parks)
• Manage routes and pre-booked appointments to deliver planned work
• Offer high-quality customer service and professional advice on repairs
