Octane Recruitment Limited is partnering with a leading national breakdown company to recruit a Mobile Vehicle Technician. You will service, maintain and repair vehicles at customers' homes or workplaces, following booked appointments across Leicester region.

A UK driving licence is essential and you will work 40 hours per week Mon-Fri with one Saturday per month. Ongoing training and career progression are offered, with a base salary of £40,170 and OTE in excess of £52,000, plus overtime, a

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 qualification in light vehicle maintenance and repair, or Level 3 qualification.
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification hands-on experience with vehicles.
• Full UK driving licence with max 6 points, no bans.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and repairing vehicles (including EVs) at customers' chosen location (driveway or office car park).
• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle problems (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical).
• Use diagnostic tools/software to identify and resolve issues.
• Communicate with customers about issues and repair recommendations.
• Handle payments via card transactions.
