Job summary

Direct Line Group is hiring a field service technician in multiple Greater London/South East locations. You will start from your home with a Green Flag vehicle, working a 40-hour week across 4 days, with shifts 7am–8pm and optional overtime.

You’ll diagnose issues like fuel, tyres, batteries, and perform on-site repairs to get customers back on the move. Benefits include a 9% employer pension and breakdown/insurance perks.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate empathy and a desire to achieve the correct outcome.
• Experience in motor repair industry.
• Demonstrate ability to use up-to-date vehicle repair techniques.
• Willingness to work lone and with dispatch support.
• Insurance requires 21+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose the problem and determine the requirements to resolve it.
• Attend breakdowns and provide on-site repairs or replacements to get the vehicle moving.
• Start days from home with a provided Green Flag vehicle and kit.
• Collaborate with dispatch to improve the customer claims journey.
