Job summary

Unknown company in Hull is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician to service, maintain and repair vehicles at customer locations such as driveways or offices. The role is full-time, 40 hours weekly, with a shift pattern including a Saturday once per month and overtime paid at time and a half.

Salary is £40,178 (inclusive of LWA) with OTE above £57,000. Benefits include pension, life cover, and career progression opportunities, plus a range of employee incentives and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or 3 light vehicle maintenance and repair qualification.
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification hands-on vehicle experience.
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures.
• Customer-focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence with up to 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and repairing vehicles at customer locations (driveways, offices).
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle problems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions and electrical issues.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify issues.
• Communicate repair recommendations to customers.
• Handle payments by card transactions.
• Keep records of work performed and parts used.
