Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd. is recruiting a Mobile Vehicle Technician to service, maintain and repair vehicles at customer locations such as driveways and workplaces. You will work 40 hours weekly, Mon-Sat, with overtime and progression opportunities.

You will handle diagnostics, use tools, and communicate repair needs with customers, while keeping detailed records and handling payments where required.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 or ideally Level 3 light vehicle maintenance and repair qualification (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ, or equivalent)
• Must have a minimum 2-year post-qualification hands-on experience with vehicles, workshop or mobile role
• Full UK driving licence - max 6 points, no bans

Responsibilities

• Service and repair vehicles at customer locations (e.g., driveway, office car park)
• Perform routine maintenance tasks (oil changes, tires, brakes)
• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical issues
