Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician to service, maintain and repair vehicles at customers’ homes or workplaces across the UK. The role is permanent and full-time, based from home with a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday 8:30am–5pm and occasional Saturdays.

EV capability is welcome, with an OT/OTE structure. You will need a Level 2 (Level 3 preferred) qualification in light vehicle maintenance, at least 2 years of hands-on experience, and a full UK driving licence with up

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in light vehicle maintenance and repair (Level 3 preferred).
• At least 2 years post-qualification hands-on experience with vehicles.
• Full UK driving licence – max 6 points, no bans.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair vehicles at customer locations (including EVs).
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension and electrical issues.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and communicate repair recommendations.
