Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is looking for a Mobile Vehicle Technician in Cheltenham. You will service, repair and maintain customer vehicles at driveways or business locations, including EVs, with a 40-hour week and 5-day schedule.

The role offers a base pay of £40,170 with OTE up to £52,000, plus overtime, bonuses and extensive progression. Candidates should have Level 2/3 in vehicle maintenance and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance and repair (Level 3 preferred).
• At least 2 years post-qualification hands-on experience with vehicles.
• Full UK driving licence with up to 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and repairing vehicles at customer locations.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections.
• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension and electrical issues.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve issues.
• Communicate repair recommendations to customers.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Handle payments through card transactions.
