Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician based in Leeds to support customers across the area. You will diagnose issues, perform maintenance, and complete repairs using diagnostic tools, while delivering outstanding customer service.

The role offers a strong benefits package, overtime and a productivity bonus, pension contributions, life cover, and progression opportunities within a leading UK mobile service provider. Monday–Friday with Saturdays on rotation.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of full-time post-qualification experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• UK driving licence is essential.
• Level 2 qualification required; Level 3 preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Identify problems and advise customers on vehicle issues.
• Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, brakes).
• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues.
• Use diagnostic software to resolve complex problems.
• Communicate repair recommendations to customers.
• Stay updated with automotive technology and repair techniques.
• Be the face of the business with excellent customer service.

Mobile VehicleTechnician

Location:The area this position covers is Leedsand the immediate surrounding area. Salary:£19.31per hour (£40,170 per year) plus bonus and overtime (£27 per hour) enabling earnings in excess of £50,000. Hours:Monday to Friday, 40 hours 8:30am - 5pm, with 1 in 4 Saturdays with a day off in the week

Mobile Vehicle Technician role:

• Identifying problems and advising the customer on the vehicle's issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
• Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.

Mobile Vehicle Technician Requirements:

• We are ideally looking for a fully qualified Vehicle technician with Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance, however this is not essential but you must have at least Level 2
• You must have at least two years of full-time experience as a Vehicle Technician post gaining qualification
• Must hold a full UK driving licence
