Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician to cover Crawley and surrounding areas. You will carry out mobile servicing, maintenance, warranty work and recalls on a range of light commercial vehicles.

The role requires a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, a Full UK Driving Licence, and the right to work in the UK. The salary starts at £40,800 basic with a £2,400 annual bonus and OTE around £46,740 with overtime.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Full UK Driving Licence and right to work in the UK.
• Experience as Vehicle Technician / Mobile Technician.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mobile servicing, maintenance, warranty work and recalls.
• Diagnose vehicle faults and complete repairs at customer locations.
• Work across a range of light commercial vehicles.
• Manage a pre-planned diary with at least five days' notice.
• Maintain accurate job records and repair information.
• Use workshop support for complex repairs when required.

Mobile Vehicle Technician Crawley

We are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician, Mobile Mechanic, LCV Technician or Automotive Technician to cover Crawley and surrounding areas. Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, have strong hands‑on servicing and repair experience, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK.

Job Details:

Location: Crawley Mobile / Field Based

Salary: £40,800 basic + bonus,OTE:£46,740 + overtime

Bonus: £2,400 annual bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday 8 - 6, 1 in 4 Saturday mornings

Mobile Vehicle Technician Role

• Carry out mobile servicing, maintenance, warranty work and recalls
• Diagnose vehicle faults and complete repairs at customer locations

• Work independently while delivering excellent customer service
• Maintain accurate job records and repair information
• Use dedicated workshop support for more complex repairs when required

Mobile Vehicle Technician Requirements

• MusthaveLevel 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mobile Vehicle Technician, LCV Technician, Automotive Technician or Mechanic
• Strong servicing, maintenance and general repair skills
• Confident working independently away from a workshop
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• Strong customer service skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Right to work in the UK
