Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking a Mobile LCV Technician to service and repair vans and light commercial vehicles at customer sites and depots around Edinburgh. The role requires a Level 3 automotive qualification or a Level 2 Technician with 3 years’ experience, and a valid UK driving licence.

A permanent, full-time position with overtime and bonus potential is offered. The successful candidate will diagnose, service and repair a range of vehicles, maintain accurate records and work in a mobile

Qualifications

• Relevant light vehicle, LCV or commercial vehicle maintenance qualification, or strong hands-on experience in a similar role.
• Good working knowledge of servicing, inspections, diagnostics and repairs on vans and light commercial vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites and depot locations to complete planned maintenance, inspections and servicing on vans and LCVs.
• Identify and repair mechanical, electrical and technical faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out mobile repairs to a high standard, ensuring vehicles remain safe, compliant and roadworthy.
• Complete job records accurately, communicate clearly with customers and maintain a professional mobile service.

Job description

Mobile LCV Technician / Mechanic role with a Level 3 qualification, or Level 2 Technician / Mechanic with 3 years' experience, for a leading vehicle rental specialist, working on a wide range of vans and light commercial vehicles. Great salary, benefits, overtime and bonus opportunities.

Pay / salary: Up to £42,000 Basic + Overtime at 1.25x Pay + Company Van Provided DOE & Qualifications
