Job summary

The AA is looking for Mobile Mechanics to deliver high-quality service and repairs at customers' homes or workplaces. You will handle booked appointments and breakdowns with inspections, diagnostics, servicing and on-the-spot repairs, supported by full training.

Expect independence across multiple locations in a rewarding role. Roles offer a 40-hour week on a 5-day rota (Mon–Sat) with shifts between 8am and 8pm and overtime incentives.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in a workshop or mobile mechanic environment.
• Full UK Category B driving licence (maximum 6 points).
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver first-class service and repair work at customers' homes or workplaces.
• Attend a mix of booked appointments and breakdowns, performing inspections, diagnostics, servicing, brake replacement and on-the-spot repairs.
• Work independently across multiple locations and environments.

Job Description

As a Mobile Mechanic, you'll be the friendly face delivering first-class service and repair work at our customers' homes or workplaces.

You’ll attend a mix of booked appointments and breakdowns, carrying out inspections, diagnostics, servicing, brake replacement and on-the-spot repairs, helping to keep our customers moving safely and confidently.

With full training and ongoing support, you'll have everything you need to succeed in a varied, independent and rewarding role.
