Job summary

The AA is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Mechanic to service and repair vehicles at customers’ homes or workplaces across London North East and surrounding areas. You will diagnose faults, explain repairs clearly, and manage your day to day jobs independently while upholding the high standards of workmanship and customer service the AA is known for.

You will need NVQ levels 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent), plus a full UK Category B license with up to six points, and be

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent with strong servicing/repair experience.
• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent with strong diagnostics, servicing and repair experience.
• Experience as a mechanic in workshop, dealership or mobile environment.
• Full manual UK Category B driving licence with no more than six points.
• Flexibility to work the advertised rota, including Saturdays.
• Professional, customer‑focused approach.
