Job summary

The AA is recruiting a Mobile Vehicle Mechanic in Bournemouth to service and repair vehicles at customers' homes or workplaces. You will work a 40-hour week across five days, with shifts from 8am to 8pm and typically one in two Saturdays.

Salary is £40,000 to £42,000 guaranteed, with up to £2,000 additional performance incentive and a £1,000 first-year sign-on bonus. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and a full UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent for Level 2 role.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent for Level 3 role.
• Experience in vehicle servicing and repair, with diagnostics for Level 3.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing and repairs at customers' homes or workplaces.
• Diagnose faults and identify solutions.
• Explain repairs clearly to customers.
• Manage day and scheduled jobs independently.
• Deliver high workmanship and customer service.
