Job summary

The AA is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Mechanic to service and repair vehicles at customers’ homes or workplaces across the UK. You’ll diagnose faults and explain solutions, using provided tools and support to deliver exceptional customer service.

Role involves a five-day rota, with some Saturdays, paid from driveway to driveway, and guaranteed earnings plus performance incentives. Requires NVQ levels 2/3 and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• For Level 2: NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair plus strong servicing/repair experience.
• For Level 3: NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair plus strong diagnostics/servicing experience.
• UK Category B driving licence with up to six points.
• Flexibility to work the advertised rota, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing and repairs at customers’ homes or workplaces.
• Diagnose faults where appropriate and identify solutions.
• Explain repairs and technical information clearly to customers.
• Manage your day and scheduled jobs independently.
• Deliver high standards of workmanship and customer service.
