Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd in the Stafford area is seeking a Mobile Trailer Technician for an Automotive Transport & Logistics client. You will inspect, service and repair HGV trailers, and handle job sheets and documentation while coordinating with the service and parts teams.

The role offers a salary up to £44,000 with an OTE of around £45,000, and a Monday-to-Friday working week. A £1,000 welcome bonus after 12 months and a range of benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Industry standard qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQs.
• Experience with HGV trailers and servicing.
• IRTEC accreditation and welding certification are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGV trailers.
• Complete job sheets and documentation.
• Liaise with Service and Parts departments.
• Prepare trailers for MOT.

Job description

We are currently seeking a Mobile Trailer Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive Transport & Logistics solution company, based in the Stafford area.

The successful Mobile Trailer Technician can expect a salary of up to £44,000 with OTE of circa £45,000 and working hours of Monday to Friday

will receive up to £1,000 welcome bonus on completion of 1 years' service

Duties:

• Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGV trailers
• Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
• Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
• Completion of MOT preparation

Requirements:

• Semi-trailer or Heavy Vehicle experience.
• Industry standard qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQs
• HGV Class 1 Driving Licence & Car Driving Licence.
• IRTEC accreditation and Welding certification
• EBS diagnostics experience, including Knorr Bremse, Haldex, and WABCO systems.
• Training or experience with axle manufacturers such as BPW, SAF, or JOST.
• Tail lift training and experience
• Double deck or lifting deck maintenance experience.
