Job summary

Logical Personnel Solutions is seeking an experienced Trailer Technician, HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Heavy Vehicle Fitter to join a leading employer in the commercial vehicle sector. The role offers both workshop-based and mobile technician opportunities with ongoing training, career development and long-term stability.

You will inspect, service, maintain and repair trailers and commercial vehicles, diagnose faults and keep accurate service records as part of a hands-on maintenance team

Qualifications

• Experience as Trailer Technician, HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Heavy Vehicle Fitter.
• Trailer experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Candidates from HGV, PSV, plant, agricultural, military vehicle or heavy equipment backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Inspection, servicing, maintenance and repair of trailers and commercial vehicles.
• Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical faults.
• Carrying out routine safety inspections and preventative maintenance.

The Role

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Trailer Technician, HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Fitter, or similar
• Trailer experience is advantageous but not essential
• Candidates from HGV, PSV, plant, agricultural, military vehicle, or heavy equipment backgrounds are encouraged to apply
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Full driving licence preferred
