Job description

Assignment Details:

• Position: Mobile Support Officer (MSO)
• Working Pattern: Up to 37.5 hours per week
• Shifts: Coverage required 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Most shifts from 5pm to 1.30am (7.5 hours). Shifts issued based on business needs.
• Training: 1-day online training and induction provided
• Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour (PAYE)
• Contract: Temporary ongoing

Your Role:

Working remotely, you will be collected by a Field Monitoring Officer (FMO) at shift start and travel across local communities to support electronic monitoring. You will assist with installing and decommissioning equipment, act as an extra set of eyes, carry equipment (not heavy), engage in conversations to support FMOs, take notes, and perform light duties. You may enter hostels, multi-occupancy places, and private addresses, so respectfulness is essential.
