Job summary

Nationwide Platforms is seeking a Mobile Service Engineer to service and repair our market-leading fleet of access equipment. You will inspect, maintain and repair machines on client sites and at depots, delivering high standards and strong customer service.

The role includes field work, pre-delivery inspections, and completing detailed service paperwork with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

Relevant vehicle maintenance or construction plant engineering qualifications.
Experience in plant, diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics, diagnostics and fault finding.
HGV class 1 or 2 licence preferred, but not essential.
Ability to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure.
Good interpersonal skills and a good understanding of the importance of excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) of machines at client premises and in depot as required, and in conformance with manufacture's specification and company policy.
Repair machines at depot or on site to ensure conformance with manufacturers' specifications and company policy.
Complete planned maintenance activities including keeping the fleet to corporate standard.
Accurately complete engineer's reports, off hire/pre-delivery inspections and service sheets.
