Job summary

Nationwide Platforms Ltd. is seeking a Mobile Service Engineer to visit customer sites across Aberdeen, carrying out maintenance, repair and inspection work on powered access equipment to high standards.

You will service and repair a range of equipment, perform routine maintenance, and ensure proper paperwork, safety and recording practices are followed. A strong customer-service mindset and industrial engineering experience are essential.

Qualifications

Must have a relevant maintenance qualification and plant rental experience.
Experience in plant, diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics and diagnostics.
Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Fault-finding, servicing, repairs and maintenance of powered access equipment at depot and client sites.
Routine servicing and maintenance of all equipment and products.
Complete required paperwork in line with procedures.
Refurbishment of equipment and products where needed.
Promote teamwork across depots to ensure effective workshop performance.
Estimate and advise on repair costs; advise on write-offs and recharges.
Keep van stocked with spare parts at all times.
Maintain service records and update daily worksheets.
Adhere to Health & Safety at Work guidelines.
Follow damage process; highlight product damage.
Maintain productivity in line with company targets.
Represent the company professionally to customers and prospects.
Be a key driver in safety initiatives.
