Job summary

Laing O'Rourke, on behalf of Select Security, is seeking Security Officers for a project near Airdrie to help secure a new hospital. The role involves mobile patrols, night shifts (12 hours) with ~54 hours per week on a long-term basis, patrolling by site vehicle and monitoring CCTV activations.

The job emphasises protecting premises and preventing unauthorised access. We offer £14 per hour, full uniform and PPE, additional training, and access to company perks.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA licence in security guarding, door supervisor, or close protection.
• UK driving licence.
• Good communication skills, written and spoken.
• Team player with customer service focus.
• Professional, with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the site by vehicle and on foot to prevent unauthorised access.
• Respond to CCTV activations and security incidents across the site.
• Maintain high standards of safety and vigilance on a major construction site.
