Job summary

RG Setsquare is seeking a Caretaker for a leading facilities management organisation, working on a mobile role across schools in Merseyside. The position is initially for 3 months with potential to go permanent, and involves general site management, maintenance, porterage, security, and reception duties.

You will present a customer-friendly front, ensure security, manage contractor sign-ins and visitor book, conduct site checks, and follow COSHH and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate a customer-facing approach and professional presentation.
• Responsible for security of the building and access control.
• Sign in contractors and maintain visitor book.
• Ability to carry out reactive tasks under guidance.
• Follow COSHH guidelines and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-of-house customer service.
• Maintain building security and access control.
• Sign in contractors and manage visitor records.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Complete fire alarm testing and L8 testing as directed.
• Liaise with Site Manager and manage external contractors on site.
