Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to serve members across the UK. You will perform roadside repairs, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support, starting and ending your day from home in your local area.

The role requires Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) and 2+ years’ experience, or 5+ years as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic, plus a clean UK license. A van, fuel card, and tools are provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance with 2+ years' experience
• 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Provide expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK
• Start and end your day at home while serving members in your local area
