Octane Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a Roadside Technician (field-based) to support a national breakdown company. The position is permanent/full-time in the Heathrow area with a base salary of £36,400 and substantial OTE potential (£60k+; 70-80k+ achievable).

Shifts are 40 hours weekly, 6am–12am, with flexi overtime at 1.5x or fixed overtime at £30/hour. Benefits include pension, life cover, career progression and more.

Formación

• Must hold Level 2 light vehicle maintenance and repair (Level 3 preferred).
• Minimum 2 years hands-on vehicle experience in workshop or mobile role.
• Full UK driving licence with max 6 points; no bans.

Responsabilidades

• Attend roadside breakdowns and assess faults quickly and accurately.
• Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs at the roadside (battery changes, tyre changes, minor engine fixes).
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and repair options.
• Provide temporary solutions to keep members mobile when full repair isn't possible.
• Advise members on next steps, including recovery if needed.
• Work safely and efficiently in varied environments.
