Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to perform mechanical roadside repairs and diagnostics, delivering emergency breakdown support across the UK. You will start and finish your day at home, working a 40-hour week with optional overtime and a company van equipped with diagnostic tools.

You will hold an NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience and a full UK driving licence with few points.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
• Willingness to work shifts averaging 40 hours per week with overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical roadside repairs and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish your day at home while operating an RAC van and diagnostic kit.
