Job summary
Manpower is seeking an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Engineer for a mobile role across Central Scotland, covering Glasgow to Edinburgh. You will maintain, service and repair industrial refrigeration and chiller systems at customer sites with a focus on reliability and safety.
The ideal candidate holds a refrigeration apprenticeship and relevant HVACR qualifications, with extensive experience in DX, pumped, flooded and multistage systems, plus ammonia/HFC/CO2 familiarity.
Qualifications
- F-Gas Cat 1 certification is required.
- Ammonia handling qualification and experience.
- Completed refrigeration apprenticeship required.
- HVACR qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds) preferred.
- Experience with HFC, ammonia and CO2 refrigeration systems.
Responsibilities
- Deliver planned maintenance, fault diagnosis, repairs and breakdown support on refrigeration systems.
- Carry out leak testing, inspections and monitor compressor performance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and environmental regulations.
- Respond to on-site maintenance calls and restore systems safely and efficiently.
