Job summary

Lancashire Renewables Ltd is recruiting a Mobile Plant Relief Operative to operate mobile plant equipment safely on site and support processing operations at Thornton. The role works on a 2-shift system and involves teamwork with weighbridge, logistics, and maintenance to keep waste processing on track.

You will perform basic inspections, maintain paperwork, and participate in safety briefings and site checks while upholding health and safety standards.

• Knowledge of basic mobile plant inspections and daily safety checks.
• Strong communication skills, including the effective use of radio communications.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile plant equipment safely across the site.
• Support the mobile plant team and general processing operations.
• Carry out routine paperwork and attend team meetings and safety briefings.
