Lancashire Renewables Ltd invites applications for a Mobile Plant Relief Operative at their Thornton site. The role focuses on safe operation of mobile plant within the waste processing operation, with additional support to the mobile plant team and general site duties.

Responsibilities include performing pre-use checks, maintaining site cleanliness, and coordinating with weighbridge, logistics, and maintenance staff. This role requires NPORS/FLT certification and a proactive safety mindset.

• Ability to interpret systems of work and procedures accurately.
• Accuracy in completing pre-use checks on mobile plant.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate mobile plant equipment across the site.
• Support the mobile plant team and carry out general processing operative tasks.
• Work with weighbridge, logistics and maintenance teams to keep waste processing on track.
• Complete routine paperwork and attend safety briefings and team meetings.
• Carry out vehicle checks and basic maintenance; keep site clean and tidy.
