Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Operative for Holcim Cauldon Cement Plant in Stoke-on-Trent. You will operate a loading shovel, load bulk materials onto HGVs and keep the site clean and organized.

Essential requirements include a valid CPCS or NPORS loading shovel card, a driving licence with access to a vehicle, and 2+ years in construction or heavy industry. The role starts ASAP with early shift hours and runs until December 2026, potentially extending.

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence and access to own vehicle due to site location.
• CPCS or NPORS loading shovel card required.
• 2+ years' experience in Construction or Heavy Industry.
• Ability to operate loading shovels and adhere to health and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate wheeled loading shovels safely across quarries.
• Load HGV lorries, artics and hoppers with bulk materials.
• Manage stockpiles and maintain site housekeeping to high standards.
• Promote health and safety at all times on site.
