Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Mobile Plant Operative for Holcim Cauldon Cement Plant, Stoke-on-Trent. You will operate loading shovels, load bulk materials into trucks, and actively manage stockpiles while adhering to health and safety standards.

This temporary role runs Monday to Friday with a start ASAP, requiring a CPCS/NPORS loading shovel card and a valid driving licence; CSCS is advantageous. On-site location necessitates reliable transport and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with loading shovels in construction or heavy industry environment.
• Valid CPCS or NPORS loading shovel card.
• Driving licence and access to own vehicle due to site location.
• Knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation and site safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate loading shovels safely across quarries and similar sites.
• Load bulk materials into HGVs, articulated trucks and hoppers.
• Manage and monitor stockpiles on site.
• Maintain high standards of site housekeeping and safety at all times.
