Job summary

Randstad Delivery is seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Operative for a temporary assignment at Holcim, Cauldon Cement Plant, Stoke-on-Trent. The role requires a valid CPCS/NPORS loading shovel ticket, a driving licence, and 2+ years’ experience in construction or heavy industry. Working Mon-Fri, 05:00–14:30, the rate is £13.63 per hour.

Contract length runs until December 2026 with potential extension. Start within 1–2 weeks, with support through a dedicated team and opportunities for

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS or NPORS loading shovel ticket.
• Driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• 2+ years' experience in construction or heavy industry.
• Knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Operate wheeled loading shovels safely across quarries.
• Load HGV lorries, articulated trucks, and hoppers with bulk materials.
• Manage stockpiles and keep them organized.
• Promote site health and safety at all times.
• Maintain high standards of site housekeeping.
