Job summary

Randstad Employment Bureau is sourcing a Mobile Plant Operative for a temporary role at Holcim, Cauldon Cement Plant in Stoke-on-Trent. The position requires operating a loading shovel, loading vehicles with bulk materials, and maintaining stockpiles.

Essentially you must hold a valid CPCS or NPORS loading shovel card, have 2+ years in Construction or Heavy Industry, and possess a driving licence with your own transport due to site location.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driving licence and access to own vehicle due to site location.
• Valid CPCS or NPORS loading shovel card.
• 2+ years of experience within Construction or Heavy Industry.
• Ability to adhere to the shift pattern (05:00–14:30).
• Strong knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Operate wheeled loading shovels safely across quarries.
• Load HGV lorries, articulated trucks and hoppers with bulk materials.
• Manage and maintain material stockpiles.
• Promote site health and safety at all times.
• Maintain high standard of site housekeeping.
