Job summary

Veolia is hiring at Colwick Transfer Station, Nottinghamshire. The role involves operating mobile plant, baler and shredder, ensuring turnaround times for tipping/loading, and maintaining quality by inspecting materials and reporting issues.

The successful candidate will join a busy site with 46.5-hour weeks and a salary of £33,271.99 per year plus benefits. Applicants should have similar operational/manual handling experience, hold a Yellow plant licence, and possess a loading shovel

It also does the shredding of residual waste to produce refuse derived fuel (RDF). What will you be doing?

• Operate mobile plant, baler and shredder
• Ensure turnaround times are met regarding the tipping and loading of vehicles
• Inspection of all input and output material and reporting of any non conforming loads and ensuring the quality meets with customers specification
• Ensure that the facility is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up before leaving the are
• Ensure that all related documentation is completed in a timely and accurate fashion
