Job summary

Holt Recruitment are working with a well-established plant sector business to recruit a Mobile Plant Fitter in Birmingham. You'll service, maintain, and repair a range of plant machinery, supporting customers across the region both on-site and in the field.

You will diagnose faults, attend breakdowns, carry out servicing and inspections, and manage your workload in a field-based role. A full UK driving licence and NVQ Level 2 are preferred, with training and clear progression offered.

Qualifications

• Experience working on plant or similar equipment across sectors.
• Strong fault-finding across mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing plant machinery
• Attending breakdowns and scheduled maintenance on customer sites
• Carrying out routine servicing and compliance inspections
• Providing a high level of technical support and customer service
• Managing your own workload effectively in a field-based role
