Job summary

Holt Recruitment is seeking a Mobile Plant Fitter to service, maintain, and repair a range of advanced plant machinery across the Bristol region. The role involves field-based work both on-site and in the field, with a company vehicle and full training provided.

You will diagnose and repair plant machinery, attend breakdowns, perform routine servicing and inspections, and deliver high-quality technical support and customer service while managing your workload autonomously.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working on Heavy plant, agricultural, or similar equipment.
• Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) ideally.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing plant machinery.
• Attending breakdowns and scheduled maintenance on customer sites.
• Carrying out routine servicing and compliance inspections.
• Providing a high level of technical support and customer service.
• Managing your own workload effectively in a field-based role.
