Job summary

Holt Recruitment is seeking a Mobile Plant Fitter to join a well‑established plant equipment company in Birmingham. You will be responsible for routine maintenance and repairs of excavators, dump trucks, telehandlers and rollers to keep our fleet operating safely and efficiently.

The role offers a competitive salary (£45,000–£55,000), a company van with a fuel card, and clear opportunities for progression within a respected business.

Qualifications

• A full UK Driving licence is required.
• Previous experience working on Plant equipment.
• Ideally a plant maintenance qualification or similar.

Responsibilities

• Routine maintenance of plant machinery such as excavators, dump trucks, telehandlers and rollers.
• Repairs as necessary to ensure equipment is fit for purpose.
• Fault finding & inspections to ensure safe operation.

Rota: Monday Friday DAYS

The main responsibilities of the Plant Fitter will include;

• Routine maintenance of plant machinery Excavators, Dump Trucks, Telehandlers, Rollers etc.
• Repairs as necessary to ensure the equipment is fit for purpose
• Fault Finding & Inspections
