Job summary

Holt Recruitment is seeking a Mobile Plant Fitter based in Preston. The role focuses on diagnosing, servicing, and repairing plant machinery on customer sites with on-call breakdown support. You will manage your workload in a field-based position and represent the company professionally.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) ideally.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience working on plant, agricultural, or similar equipment.
• Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing plant machinery
• Attending breakdowns and scheduled maintenance on customer sites
• Carrying out routine servicing and compliance inspections
• Providing a high level of technical support and customer service
• Managing your own workload effectively in a field-based role
