Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is partnering with a leading plant equipment firm in Crawley to recruit a Mobile Plant Fitter. This permanent, full-time role offers a £35,000 base salary plus overtime, a company van and fuel card, and ongoing training with clear long-term progression.

Qualifications

• We require a proven track record as a Plant Fitter or similar role.
• Experience servicing construction or agricultural machinery is essential.
• Strong fault-finding skills and hydraulic knowledge are required.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing construction and agricultural plant machinery.
• Diagnosing faults across mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Carrying out breakdown repairs at customer sites and in workshops.
• Completing routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Communicating additional repair needs to customers clearly.
• Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Providing a professional, customer-focused service.

Mobile Plant Fitter - Crawley | £35,000 + Overtime + Van

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join a well-established business supporting customers across Crawley and the surrounding areas. The role will involve travelling to customer sites across the area, carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and breakdown repairs, with workshop-based work when required.

Key Responsibilities

What we're looking for

• Experience as a Plant Fitter, Agricultural Engineer or similar
• Strong mechanical engineering and fault-finding experience
• Experience working on construction or agricultural machinery
• Good knowledge of hydraulic systems and diagnostics
• Ability to diagnose and repair equipment faults independently
• Full UK driving licence
